The Newfound Importance of Accessorizing
2020 has taught us a thing or two. We've learned to appreciate the little things that we used to take for granted, as well as revisit some things we had forgotten in the midst of the fast-paced world.
One small, but definitely significant lesson we've learned, in terms of fashion, is that accessorizing can be what makes or breaks an outfit.
Many of us are going to class or working from home, and communicate mainly through FaceTime or Zoom. We know backgrounds and fun costumes during Halloween have kept things lighthearted and interesting. But what about the rest of the year?
We can only hope and do our best as individuals to slow the spread of this terrifying virus. Hopefully, things can go back to a version of normal. But until then, show off your personality or fashion flair with some accessories.
For instance, the Ciao Barrette is my favorite because I can say hello to a friend from a distance, or show my nostalgia for traveling!
This all might sound frivolous in comparison to what many are experiencing during these tough times. And it is. But there really isn't a norm for anything anymore.
So if fashion makes you as happy as it does us, find new ways to wear and show it off. Even if it's just for you.
